Rupande Patel, DDS, MS
Dr. Patel has enjoyed providing comprehensive dental care to children for over 18
years. She focuses on creating a dental home, preventive care, parent education
and making dental care fun for the child. She is trained in providing in-office
sedation (both conscious and I.V. Sedation) and hospital dentistry for the very
young and anxious patients.
She is a graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas and has practiced in
the Dallas area since 1991. She has also earned degrees from Bombay University in
India and University of Melbourne in Australia.
She is an assistant clinical professor of pediatric dentistry at Baylor College of
Dentistry.
Dr. Patel is also a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Reserves, and served in
Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom for which she was
awarded the Army Commendation Medal and Global War on Terrorism Medal. She
has been deployed on missions providing dentistry in poverty stricken countries such
as Guatemala and the Dominican Republic, and has been deployed stateside
providing dentistry for soldiers getting ready for deployment.
She enjoys spending time with her son and daughter, reading, and going to the
beach.

Jennifer - Business Manager
Jennifer is an experienced and friendly team member and manages the office and
financial matters. She has worked with children and their families for over 18 years.
Jenn enjoys spending time with her husband and four children. She loves attending
football games, swimming lessons and dance lessons with her kiddos. In her spare
time she volunteers at her church.
Mattie – Scheduling/Insurance Coordinator
Mattie has been with the practice for four years and is extremely helpful in providing
exceptional service to our patient families. She is compassionate and caring and
works well with team members. In her free time she enjoys baking and spending
time with her six grandchildren.
Karemys – Scheduling/Insurance Coordinator
Karemys was born in Venezuela and is fluent in Spanish. She loves interacting with
our bi-lingual patients and assisting them with scheduling and insurance needs. She
has lived in the Dallas area over 20 years. Karemys is a mother of three and loves
spending time with her children, going to the movies, reading, and dancing.
Lynn – Registered Dental Hygienist
Lynn has worked with children for many years and takes all the effort to make their
experience a great, fun-filled adventure. She gets satisfaction teaching the patients
to practice good oral hygiene techniques. Lynn is married and has a three year old
son who is the light of her life.
Karina – Registered Dental Assistant
Karina has been a dental assistant for 11 years and has worked with children for the
last four years. She is proficient in her assisting skills, English, Spanish, and sign
language. She helps Dr. Patel with the sedation and general anesthesia cases.
Karina is a mother of three girls and enjoys spending her free time with them. She
enjoys reading, singing, and is a hard worker.
Marcella – Registered Dental Assistant
Marcella is the newest member of our team and is experienced in the clinical area.
She is proficient in English and Spanish. She enjoys spending time with her son who
is in middle school. Marcella loves being outdoors, going to the lake, and reading a
good book.
Kavitha Viswanathan, DDS, MS
Dr. K is a pediatric dentist and helps us take care of patients on Mondays and
Saturdays. She is trained in providing dental care to children under sedation and
general anesthesia. She is a faculty member at Baylor College of Dentistry in the
Pediatric Dental Department. Dr. K is married and has two young children. She is
delightful to work with.
